1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from TrendsSutra ("we", "us", "our", or the "Company"), you ("Customer", "User") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TrendsSutra, a business registered in India, operating under Indian law.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website and make purchases.
- By using this site, you represent that you are competent to enter into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- Persons of unsound mind or minors are prohibited from transacting without parental/guardian consent.
- This website is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
3. Products & Pricing
3.1 Product Descriptions
We make every effort to display accurate product images and descriptions. However, colours may vary due to screen settings. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time.
3.2 Pricing
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Flash sale prices are valid only during the sale period.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of pricing errors.
3.3 Stock Availability
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is out of stock after your order is placed, we will notify you within 24 hours and offer a full refund or substitute.
4. Orders & Contract of Sale
A contract of sale is formed when we send you an Order Confirmation email after successful payment. The contract is subject to these Terms and Indian law.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including fraud suspicion, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.
- Orders placed with incorrect delivery addresses will be the customer's responsibility.
- Bulk or commercial resale orders may be refused without explanation.
5. Payments
We accept the following payment methods through our RBI-licensed payment gateway Razorpay:
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
- Net Banking
- EMI options (subject to bank approval)
- Razorpay Wallet
We do not store or have access to your full card details. Payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant and authorised by the Reserve Bank of India.
6. Shipping & Delivery
- We ship across India. Free shipping is available on orders above ₹999.
- Standard delivery: 4–7 business days. Express options may be available at checkout.
- Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to logistics, weather, or public holidays.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners after dispatch.
- Delivery to remote areas (as defined by courier partners) may take up to 10 days.
7. Returns & Refunds
7.1 Return Eligibility
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
- Item is unused, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags intact
- Original packaging is included
- Proof of purchase (invoice) is provided
- Item is not in the non-returnable category (e.g., innerwear, personalised items)
7.2 Refund Process
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
- For COD orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer or UPI.
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and E-Commerce Rules, 2020, which guarantee your right to a refund for defective or misdescribed goods.
8. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement if not yet shipped.
- To cancel, contact us via WhatsApp or email immediately.
- Once shipped, cancellation is not possible; you may initiate a return upon delivery.
- Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 3–5 business days.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, product photographs, and design elements — is the exclusive property of TrendsSutra and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes; actual product may have minor variations.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the site for unlawful purposes or in violation of any Indian laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems (punishable under Section 43 & 66 of the IT Act, 2000)
- Post or transmit defamatory, obscene, or harmful content
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or chargebacks
- Scrape, crawl, or data-mine our website without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, TrendsSutra shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or business interruption
- Losses arising from third-party service failures (couriers, payment gateways)
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the value of the order giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to first contact our Grievance Officer (Section 14). If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may:
- Approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District/State/National) under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- File a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or at consumerhelpline.gov.in
- Use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) portal at e-Daakhil
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnataka, India, without prejudice to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to approach the appropriate consumer forum.
14. Contact & Grievances
For any complaints, disputes, or queries regarding these Terms, please contact our Grievance Officer within 30 days of the grievance arising. We will respond within 30 days as mandated by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
